Friday Favorites! – The Hungry Runner Girl

(top, bottoms)
Good morning! I started yesterday with 10 very warm miles on the trails and roads out here. I left early, but that sun was already bringing the heat. Luckily, I had my bottle with me and kept reminding myself that summer miles = fall smiles (even though my race is in the summer… I need to find a fall race, too).
Solo runs like this are truly one of my favorite things: quiet, a good podcast, and that sunrise lighting up the whole desert.
After cooling down and rehydrating, we took the kids straight to a pool. I pretended the pool counts as an ice bath.

Andrew picked up lunch at Costa Vida. I know this might be a bold statement, but I believe that Costa Vida > Cafe Rio these days.

He brings his deck everywhere we go.

Ever met someone that eats a Cutie whole without taking each wedge apart? Now you have, Knox.

It isn’t a trip to St. George without a stop at Nielsen’s for Andrew’s favorite custard.

Skye’s eyes look extra different from each other here…

Now for some of my favorite things this week:
*I stole Brooke’s tank, it is perfect for summer. SO MUCH AIRFLOW. It doesn’t stick to your skin in the slightest. It’s so good. Brooke already knows how to pick out the best things.

*These little jars. I put my homemade jam in them to deliver with a loaf of bread to people, and a few months ago, my friend gave me one full of the best gummy candy mix. They are so cute and make such fun gifts.

*Two of my Amazon tops that I find to be perfect for right about now–> Here

*And here. The color is so so good.

*Jodi, you were right. These are the most perfect summer candy to exist.

*THIS DOCUMENTARY. Jasmin Paris is something else.
*My last few Amazon purchases are here, here, here, here, and here.
*25% off adidas full-price and sale items–> RUNNING PIECES GALORE.
*Up to 60% off Target Cupshe swimsuits!!
*I have this tee and LOVE it, and it is currently 70% off (only $15)!
The top-selling items on my blog over the last 30 days are this jean jacket, this shapewear (I wear it under every dress I ever wear), these jeans, and the dry shampoo I swear by.

How hot is too hot for a run for you?
For those of you who have tried both… Which is better: Costa Vida or Cafe Rio?
Do you switch to more treadmill runs when it’s hot or just embrace the heat?
Any fun Friday night plans?
