They did it. Their first day of school. They say this stage of life goes by in a blink, and I’m beginning to believe them.
Knox’s first day of middle school! They have two classes and lunch together. They are best buds.
I went for 8 miles @ 8:06 average after school drop-off, and my heart was feeling all of the things. I couldn’t count the number of times that running was just what I needed to work through alllll of the thoughts and finish feeling like a new person.
And then I met these two (Beck starts school next week!) to do some birthday shopping for Brooke.
As for my lunches this school year… The uncommonclb shared some of their favorite Costco finds, and both of these were on there. 10/10. They are so good and easy to cook in the airfryer.
I’ve been wearing Mer’s watch lately. I sure miss her (my grandma passed away in 2023).
Max insisted on coming to school pick-up… Beretta insisted on continuing her nap;)
He would come to school with them in a heart beat if he could.
We tried to make after-school special with their favorite cookies.
Even though it was a 95°F yesterday, the kids starting school has me whipping out my pumpkin candles and wanting to carry a big blanket with me everywhere I go. School starting ignites my inner fall loving soul. Anyone else?
