I’m begging us to not waste our summers doing this…

(shorts, tank)

6 miles @ 8:08 pace, and we came across a dog wearing goggles.

These two had their first practice with the new soccer team.

We got out to the mountains to take the dogs on a walk.

Beck attempted his best to mimic Andrew.

My favorite season in Utah for the temps and the scenery but then the allergies go ahead and make me sneeze 59 times a minute.

Beretta can’t make it super long these days out on walks but they are still her favorite thing on the planet.

I fell asleep for a few minutes on the couch and woke up to this…

Keeping up with yoga during the summer is already infinitely harder than the school year but I’m going to make it happen.

Buying worms and fishing poles weren’t on my Summer 2025 bingo card but here we go… Something I love about having kids is that they get me to try all sorts of new things.

And we finished off the day with some oven s’mores.

This is your reminder that summer isn’t a test your body has to pass. You don’t have to spend another season sitting out of the pool, hiding under a towel, or layering stress over your swimsuit. You are not a “before” photo. Your body is not a problem to solve—> it’s why you get to chase your kids through sprinklers, run towards sunrises with your friends, and eat popsicles on the front porch without overthinking it.

Let’s not waste another summer waiting for our bodies to change before we start living like we deserve joy. You already do. Put on the shorts. Get in the picture. Order the snow cone. Your body isn’t the thing holding you back from enjoying summer… it’s the thing that lets you be in it. And that’s worth celebrating, not fixing.
