Running

I go through phases of blogging.

(shoes)

Oh, how I wish I could go back to the days when I didn’t need caffeine to function. Those days are long gone, so I’m always trying out all of the caffeine I can find;). I tried this new Liquid I.V. Energy with natural caffeine (that’s gotta be better than my normal caffeine?), and it’s delicious and so refreshing.

I love this scene. How much longer before they don’t both fit on the same stool?

My car windshield was getting fixed, so it was a scooter kind of a day. We may have been both shivering on the way to her school, but it made us laugh pretty hard.

And then I ran 8.3 miles at an 8:25 pace around town. We stopped by Jess’ house to see all of her cute Halloween decorations. She got these flamingos here, and I need some now, too.

Andrew had a gorgeous ride:

I go through phases where I like to have a theme for my blog posts or a specific running topic with lists, and then most of the time I just feel like telling you all of the random little things in our lives, like I would to my best running friends, because that’s what we are, right?

There was a weasel on our driveway yesterday, which was a first for us.

Andrew takes Costco very seriously.

We grabbed these for the first time, and they are perfection. Skye is going to go through this bag so quickly.

I think Aubergine is officially my favorite fastish restaurant in Utah. Please go if you ever can.

Beck was with me for this post to be written:

And last thing to talk about today–> Jane Hedengren (it makes me so happy to see her out when we are running) wrote a post about what she tried during her final high school season. I loved this part–> “Like a child, go for it. Don’t trade the magic for a measured hope. There is so much possibility within racing. Where’s the magic in over-analyzing? Maximize that effort, enjoy it, be kind, and see what happens.”

I hope with whatever fall races you have on your schedule, you go for the magic!

Have you ever had any surprising animals in your yard/area?

-The number of rats we get in our yard is shocking… Our walnut tree brings them! I love our walnut tree so much though so it’s just part of the territory. Maybe the weasel likes them, too?

What would you say is the best restaurant in your area?

Need caffeine to function?

Do you enjoy the sauna?

-I slowly die in them.
