Tangents!

Knox went for a 2-mile run before school! These kids are watching us…

Brooke was thrilled to have sushi to share with a friend at lunch.

Once they were in school, I went out for 6.5 miles at a 7:55 pace. 12 days until I run 26.2 miles for the first time in 1.7 years.

Look how sporty my cute mom looks…

These two wore their BYU gear to celebrate Conner Mantz (BYU alumni) and his American Record;)

Chick-fil-A really makes my life so much better.

Now for today’s tangents:

*My favorite long sleeve on its own or to layer with is 50% off right now.. only $8!

*Andrew and I have a rule that the last one out of bed in the morning has to make the bed. This usually means that when one realizes the other is about to get up, we both race to get out the fastest. I almost tore my hamstring this morning;). But he had to make the bed so it was worth it.

*My marathon shoes are here…

*Just a boy and his Nutella jar.

*Did you see Conner’s marathon splits?

*Beck’s class sang at a grand opening for a store in our area, and the Mayor spoke afterward. We were all very proud of him.

*A neighbor dropped off this homemade salsa made with her garden tomatoes at 8 pm, and it was as though she knew my body needed this with chips. Utah is heavily in the media these days, and if there is anything I want people to know about Utahns, they are so incredibly kind, friendly, and giving. I have the best neighbors.

*Brooke did some spooky designs for Andrew’s toes. His first time having gel nails:

*We have reached the point where we enter the door and go straight to the fire. I ran the first mile of my run yesterday in a thick sweatshirt… It takes us all about 45 days to acclimate to the cold again.

Have any tangents to share today?

If you could only eat one cereal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

-I’m back in love with Frosted Mini Wheats.

Are you a ‘bed must be made each day’ kind of person or not so much?

Who’s the early riser in your house (if you live with other people?)
