Friday Favorites! – The Hungry Runner Girl

Even though it was my ‘rest day’ I couldn’t imagine saying no to running a mile with all of the kids when Skye asked to go.

One mile done and done.

We came down to St. George with a good friend of mine and her family. This friend of mine loves to cook and I love to eat so coming back to coconut pancakes and eggs was pretty perfect.

We then went to our favorite obstacle course park (Canyon Park) and things got competitive…

Followed by some Pickelball. Kelsey and I met in college (20 years ago!) and have stayed close ever since.

Our teens had a doubles match with some long rallies.

And then it was time for the indoor pool.

I need to travel more often with Kelsey.

Now for today’s favorites:
*It’s the Friends and Family 40% off everything sale! I can’t live without this beauty, this, this top/bottom set, and I need this cardigan. Also, this pj set is such a good deal so I have to.
*I wanted a navy vest for running, but didn’t want to pay XXX. Vests are what allow me to survive winter running. This one is pretty thick, has a hood, and comes in a few colors. I’ll be wearing this often over the next few months. I 100% recommend it.

*The highest-selling item on my blog this last month has been the oversized sweatshirt on Amazon. It’s beyond soft, costs $25, and comes in a lot of colors. Also, the clogs that I LIVE IN are 25% off right now HERE.

*We’ve been using Greenlight with the kids for a few years now, and it’s been SUCH a helpful tool for teaching them about money. They each have their own debit card, which makes life very convenient. I’ve loved using Greenlight to set up allowances, teach them about investing, and saving for things they really want. It’s been fun to see how much more aware they are about spending and saving… way more than I was at their age, that’s for sure (plus, I have it set up that half of their earnings go straight to savings;). It also keeps Andrew and me from scrambling for cash when they are out with friends and I want to cover the bill. Oh, and it also texts me whenever they spend money, along with the location.
If you want to try out Greenlight with your kids, you can use my QR code below to get $30 free (and I get $30 for free, too):
*I just finished this podcast…. um. I’m speechless. How someone could ever…
