Tuesday Tangents!

‘Tis the season where we vary greatly on what to wear for the given temperature. I almost even wore a vest because I was so cold getting out of the car.

8.6 miles @ 8:04 pace with 6 x 20-second strides in a church parking lot.

Another fun Halloween find along our route:

Now for the tangents of the day:

*Beck and I went to both an indoor and an outdoor park. Also, these pants I’m wearing below are 50% off (all of Gap is, and I think this, this, this, and this are other musts).

*My very best attempt at a toe touch.

*While listening to one of the songs on Taylor Swift’s new album, Skye said, “Is this Taylor Swift? Why is she so happy?” Hahaha.

*Welcome to the adventures of what animal do we find in the backyard? WE FOUND A BADGER YESTERDAY. Max kept him right in place while we waited for animal control.

*My sister told me about Movesmethod on YouTube, and I’ve started doing a few of her mobility videos. They are hard, but I’m determined to maintain mobility for the rest of my life.

*The long run teaches you how to cope with being fatigued and how to persist when you want to quit.  It did a lot of teaching last Friday during our 22-miler.

*Is there any worse feeling than sticky hands from your gel with no way to wash them for a few miles?! Pure torture.

*Anyone else find this scene on their counter, too? Beck lives for Nutella.

Give me a tangent today!

Could you eat Nutella with a spoon, or not your thing?

Agree or disagree with how torturous it feels to have sticky hands from a gel on the run?

What animal scares you the most?

-Badger for me now.
