A case of the Randoms.

Even a snapped rubber band couldn’t stop me from loving my run around Princeville.
Now, for just a few more things from our trip, and then I’ll stop talking about it;)
*I got to feel cool like my niece, Curly, with the humidity and my hair. The humidity also caused me to break out more than ever before but I will spare you that documentation.

*Explaining payphones to Beck and how we had to fit when and where to be picked up to our parents in 2.2 seconds, when you were supposed to say your name, so the call was free;). Does anybody else remember doing that?

*Beck went up to this man and told him that they were matching. He was so sweet to Beck and asked for a picture! I love the people we get to meet on trips.

*I love the ‘ish’

*It will never get old seeing his joy in an airplane.

*Binoculars were with Skye 100% of the vacation.

*I’m still kicking myself that I didn’t buy this $16 2.5 oz bag of chocolate covered pineapple gummi bears. I hate it when my responsible side makes the decisions. It’s rare but it does happen on occassion.
*Brooke is so good to her siblings.

*And me.

*Beck fully welcomed not having to wear shoes very much while there… Pray for me to get him to school with shoes each day.

*When it’s the last day of your trip and you give up attempting to find the proper attire…

*One of us is the show up to the gate as everyone is boarding type of person, and the other is the arrive 3 hours early type of person, and we refuse to compromise somewhere in the middle.

*I never go on an airplane without this.

*The time change coming home from Kauai felt like a kick to the gut. I swear coming back from Europe didn’t hurt as bad as coming back from Hawaii since it’s a different direction. But the kids all made it back to school (there teachers are always so kind about taking trips during the school year because they say travel is the best education and they make up any work missed), and I got in 8 miles with my girls. Forever in love with these running Amazon tanks.

*Beck had a great first day back to school and lost count of how many crepes he consumed.
This post was written before the tragedy in our backyard. Thanks for checking in on us.
