7 miles @ 8:26 pace and day two of school for the older three.
After we dropped off the kids, Beck went to the window seat with one of our photo books to look at their pictures. It broke my heart but also made my day to see how much he loves them.

After school, we got the kids around to their activities…
and had sweet potatoes with taco meat and guac for din din with some fruit smoothies.
Brookie is 13 today and I’m feeling rather emotional about it. We’ve been through it all together. Her calm/peaceful soul, gorgeous smile, passion for adventure/play/soccer/family/animals, and way of “making everyone feel good about themselves” (<- a quote from her friend) is more than I could have ever hoped for.
I love this girl so very much, who is a firm believer in two-armed hugs (and tells people that attempt a one-armed hug that it isn’t going to fly) and holds onto you to really let the hug sink in. We are so lucky to be her people.
Now for a few favorites this week:
*I told myself I wasn’t going to listen to the two hour podcast (because of a todo list) of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce but then I had to and I don’t regret one minute of it. It was adorable and I’m so happy for them.
*A mom brought these to half-time for the girls to have during a hot soccer game. They are SO good + electrolytes! She said she grabbed them at Costco.
*Andrew sent me this episode and it is a MUST listen. Kate Courtney just won Leadville and broke the course record.
*A new Amazon favorite. This shirt is perfect. Every time I wear it, I have people ask for the link. It comes in other fun colors too! I went with a medium!
*It’s the 40% off sale at GAP right now… I grabbed these sweats with this zip up and can’t wait to be cozy all fall in them! I love this dress, this skirt, and I’ve loved this sweater for years.
*If you love pickles, you must also try this at Costco. Divine.
*adidas has the lightest running shoes. The adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 has made the speed workouts I’ve tried them in feel sharper and more explosive. The Lightstrike Pro cushioning and ENERGYRODS 2.0 bring out a snappy ride without weighing me down, and the breathable upper stays right in place. I haven’t raced in them yet, but if they feel this good during workouts, I can only imagine what they’ll feel like in a race.
