Today’s thought that’s been buzzing in my head for some reason + weekending.

It was a 7-mile trail run on Saturday morning.
I love how Strava makes our weeks look so cool. 52 miles for my week!

Utah’s looking pretty good right now…

And then time for all of the games.

I cannot believe how fast they are growing up.

At Brooke’s game a parent brought Krispy Kremes and I was reminded of how elite these donuts are… The feel like air but taste like heaven.

Saturday’s:

The big kids had a party, the little kids were at my sister’s house, and so we went to Sundance.

If you ever find yourself at Sundance, please please please order their brussels. They are one of my favorite things about life.

On Sunday, we finally got up all of the Halloween decorations. My in-laws are always part of this tradition. It’s their favorite day.

We made this soup (A MUST) for everyone to eat while we decorated:

Today’s run thought that’s been buzzing in my head for some reason–> You don’t have to feel okay to start… but starting always helps (even if it’s just a walk around the block). And that’s the beautiful thing about this all… You don’t need to feel strong, happy, or even motivated to begin. You just need to start. That tiny spark of movement often will wake something up inside of you. It creates momentum, and sometimes that’s alll we need to feel a little more like ourselves again. So, if you’re in a hard place today, don’t wait to feel better before you do something kind for yourself. Just step outside. Walk to the mailbox. Stretch in the kitchen. Lace up your shoes and see what happens. You don’t have to go far to go forward.
