We are getting taken over. Try This. Is my sis right or am I?

(Vest, long sleeve, shorts, shoes)
10 miles @ 8:22 pace to start out the weekend right.
Something big has happened in our home. Knox is strong enough to lift Andrew. We might be getting a bit stressed that we will be taken over soon… in strength and speed, haha. Wish us luck.

It was then time for soccer practice. I love watching him coach and have fun out there.

Now that Beck and Skye see other kids playing hockey each week after soccer practice, they really want us to sign them up. I don’t know a thing about hockey but I guess I’m about to.

The birthday celebrating has begun. I love this woman so much. I’m positive she doesn’t sleep because she is too busy serving everyone in the city and running miles upon miles. I feel so lucky to know her.

We watched the Millrose Games (aka my Super Bowl for the weekend)… My highlights were Grant Fisher’s World Record and Whittni Morgan’s 3000m win. I’ve gotten to talk with them at my friend Todd’s house and they are both beyond kind.

We should have been skiing over the weekend, but instead, we were playing street hockey in shorts!

And hot tubbing.

My Sunday mornings are now made for yoga in pajamas. A few of my yoga thoughts: 1) I listen to a book (currently listening to The Locked Door by Freida McFadden) while I watch and copy the yoga instructor. It helps me stay consistent with yoga because I so look forward to my audiobooks, and in the past, I quit doing yoga because I was bored. The audiobooks are preventing any boredom from happening these days. 2) I used to do core-specific strength classes, but now I just do upper and lower body strength classes because I feel like yoga and chin-ups are making my core stronger than it has ever been. Thank you, yoga. 3) My flexibility has increased a lot while being consistent with yoga, but I am convinced my bone setup will never allow me to get more flexible with my straddles or touching my toes while sitting.

And then I made a menu and invited the kids to my diner. If you have little kids, try this. They absolutely loved it.

A bit later and Beck was complaining about his ears so I took him in and he had a double ear infection. His last ear tube fell out, too. Those ear tubes of his worked WONDERS for his ears for a few years. Did anyone’s kids need them again after the first set came out? I’m really hoping that now that his tubes are out, he won’t be getting ear infections all of the time like he did as a baby.

And of course we watched the Super Bowl… People in my home were very happy with the results.

My most worn jeans are 30% off today! I also adore this pair and all of their denim is 30% off, meaning most are around $63, and everything else is 20% off!

I have a very random topic to discuss with you today. My sister believes that malls will eventually shut down because everyone will only shop online for everything. I strongly disagree. I think malls are thriving! I swear ours is just as busy as it was before online shopping became a thing. What are your thoughts? What have you noticed in your area?
Did you watch the Super Bowl? Happy or sad about the results?
Tell me a highlight from your weekend?
Are you flexible?
