Tangents!

(shorts, tank)
Yoga first, 9.3 miles after.

Beck requested ‘Beretta Pancakes’, and I’m pretty proud of what I did to recreate a chocolate lab using a few ingredients.

It was the World Fair for Knox, and he chose to present Spain. It made us all want to go back.

And Skye made her 200 relays look easy…

Brooke’s team had their last game of the 2024/2025 soccer year. Everyone decided that Andrew needs to be the coach again for this next year, so it’s not the end end. Andrew first decided to coach when Brooke was in the hospital with her bone infection last year and missed all of the soccer tryouts. This team has been such an incredible thing that came out of such a scary time.

And now for the tangent part of the day…
*These cannot be good, can they? Has anyone tried them?

*What I use to fit into car conversations with Brooke and Knox;)

*The kids have games at a field with thousands of mosquitoes. My friend had me put a few drops of this peppermint on, and it kept them all away. I’m a big fan of peppermint now.

*Just as the roly-polies have multiply and replenished themselves in our area after Skye stopped collecting them, now Beck assembles each one he sees. They will be extinct here before we know it.

*I LOVED this Substack–> why time felt slower when we were kids (and how to get it back)! I’m including a portion from the article (please read the whole thing if you are interested!). Let’s expand time again, we can even do each of these things on our next run, too:

*Andrew gave me this beautiful print for Mother’s Day of a painting I fell in love with in an art museum by Brian Kershisnik. I stood there and stared at it for 30 minutes, and now I get to stare at it at home. I have felt help from above so many times throughout my motherhood journey so far.

*And he made this necklace through Charmlry. The kids’ initials:
