Recently _______________:

*I went on a run with Emilee and after running together for 5+ years, we still haven’t come close to running out of things to talk about on the run.

*I tried an Assault treadmill, and I’m not sure how I felt about it… I bet if I used it a bunch, I would get used to it, but it was kind of scary. It speeds up when you run towards the front of the belt and slows down when you go towards the back of the belt. I would want to slow down but then freak out when I went back a little, thinking I would fall off and then move forward and speed up even faster. It definitely would take some practice for me.

*I also tried out this plank trainer… you can get an app on your phone, place it in the slot, and then play interactive video games with it because it calibrates your phone’s motion. This might be a fun gift for anyone who loves working out and playing video games. It made planking harder because you have to balance even more.

*I learned that Andrew puts a sandwich bag on his feet when he rides his bike in the winter to help them from freezing.

*I read this book for me and Knox’s book club. It was excellent.

*I tried this cheese and want to put it on everything I eat from here on out.

*I worked on my beam routine with Brooke.

*I realized that Stephen’s hot chocolate is the only hot chocolate I will ever buy.

*I wondered if my kids are the only kids that eat their ramen like this… Maybe they are trying out a raw diet lifestyle?

*I thought about how my sister’s kids feel like siblings to my kids.

*I was concerned that Andrew was choosing to eat these…

*I realized that Brooke is just like Andrew… wearing shorts to school in the winter while I was needing 5 layers for the car. Her sweatshirt even had a skeleton on it… Andrew’s dressing twin.

*I started listening to this one… I love Freida McFadden.

*Started my post-run tradition of laying by the fire for as long as my kids will allow me to.

*I learned to throw in an ice cube with a wrinkly item, and after just a few minutes in the dryer, it is wrinkle-free.

*Got back into green smoothies after not having them for twoish weeks. Yesterday’s mix: 1/2 lb power greens (kale, chard, spinach), 1/4th cup chia, 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and enough water and ice to make it perfectly smothieish;)
