My Wandering eyes + Tangents!

I have wandering eyes when it comes to my running relationship with the roads;). While we were on our run yesterday, I was thinking about how much I wish we were all frolicking up in the mountains together instead of on the asphalt around town haha. I have a problem.

Now for some tangents:
*Our crowd pleaser salad that I learned from my niece and bring anytime we are in charge of the salad–> baby spinach, apples, peppers, cucumbers, red onions, avocado, candied pecans, and this balsamic dressing I could drink.

*My favorite acai bowl place (Bowls Superfoods) started selling two of their star ingredients… I am so excited to make them at home now.

*He joined in on my yoga class without saying a word. A yoga session a day keeps the PTs away;)

*Curly came over to do Brooke’s nails for the last week of school.

*Brooke and Andrew built a chicken run to attach to our coop in the pouring rain. Our chicks are big enough to move out to the coop now, and these two have ensured they will be safe from raccoons.

*How do you feel about running shorts with inner shorts like these ones with a phone pocket? I want to try a pair, but I’m also worried they would drive me crazy. Also, thoughts on Sweaty Betty clothing? I’ve never tried them before!

*My friend, Kodi, brought a massage gun to the finish line of our race and let me borrow it. It felt so good. I need to bring recovery tools around with me more often again!

*Brooke was born what feels like last year but somehow she is choosing what markers to bring to sign yearbooks at the end of the 7th grade?!

*Beretta was a really great race spectator.

*Brooke is usually the one making the really pretty loaves, but I did this one from start to finish the other day, and I was pretty proud. I want to make a cinnamon chip loaf next.

*This stuff, Benadryl, and my inhaler come with me on every trail run this time of year… Remember that one time I thought I was going to die in the mountains?

*Saw these and picked them up at Costco… absolutely delicious. But pricey ($18 for the bag)! I won’t be buying them every Costco trip but I’m not mad that I did this time…

*The adidas early access sale has started today! 30% off sitewide with code SUMMER–> I adore these shorts, these shorts, these shorts, these leggings, this bra, this bra, this bra, this tank, and this tank… and of course my favorite shoes ever.
