Running

It’s always shocking to me when…

(Yes, I did try to match Andrew’s bike because I know how much he loves his bike;)

It’s always shocking to me when:

*I think back to the days when my running team would do tempo miles on the trail I did yesterday. Either the trail has gotten much bumpier, or my ankles were a lot stronger back then, because I have no idea how I used to run fast up here.

*I think about what life would be like without you guys… Valene taught me about pineapple with cottage cheese (I always thought grapes were the best with CC, but now I’m reconsidering). 26g of protein and so good.

(Also, thanks to Mary for telling me about the Kind Protein Max bars and how good they are… 10/10. I had it with a That’s it bar. from Costco, and it made my afternoon Uber shift getting kids around quite enjoyable)

*I go through Andrew’s photos and realize he goes a week or two between taking a photo. Even before I started blogging/cell phones, I took a real camera with me everywhere.

*Costco can nail a dupe perfectly… Bogg bag dupes right now!

*I find cheap running tops that feel much more expensive than they are…

*I realize I should probably start marathon training again because I’m sending Andrew 20 new ideas a day of things I want to do.

*I get a run that finishes with numbers that make me so happy… 8 0’s on one screen.

*My kids are freezing yet never cold enough for ice cream:)

*I match someone… I picked up my in-laws from the airport yesterday and loved that my MIL and I were basically matching (mine).

*The end of the school year comes around, and it turns into by far the busiest time of the entire year (even busier than the holidays?!)

*I realize that Des’ win at Boston was SEVEN years ago, and not 3ish years ago. 2018 seems like it was just yesterday.

*Beck already wants to be just like Andrew and has been asking to have tall socks like him.

*I think about how I haven’t been doing this all along. I couldn’t nap anymore if I wanted to. This is a great clip that explains how I’m feeling about my creatine infatuation right now.
