Friday Favorites! – The Hungry Runner Girl

(shirt, leggings, vest, beanie)

It was one of those mornings where I stood staring at the pancakes for 10 minutes, wondering why it was taking so long to heat up, to realize then I hadn’t plugged in the griddle. They cooked very quickly once I plugged it in.

It was a 5 out of 5 beanie day (Knox was still in shorts though, haha). UTAH WARM UP.

I got to go out and run with friends in the sunshine. I can do sunny and cold; gloomy and cold days feel so much more challenging overall. My friends are training for Boston, and I am grateful my leg/back are well enough to jump in with them on these longer runs.

Anyone else annoyed by the 13.08? I didn’t realize until I had saved the run how close I was to 13.1!

I went to Costco to exchange Andrew’s AirPods that were broken, and left with this beautiful ravioli.

I know I exaggerate a lot, but Beck spent 3 hours yesterday doing paint-by-stickers books. He is hooked.

We ended the night in the hot tub and then watched the latest Mr. Beast on Amazon Prime (<- AKA why my kids love Thursday more than any other day currently).

Now for this week’s favorites:

*The only brush that Skye will let me come near her with… My mom got one, too, and agrees with me that it is a magic detangle brush.

*Sometimes, it’s the simplest things that make me the happiest. This little iPhone holder for the kitchen makes it much easier to cook with a recipe on my phone.

*I’ve tested many long-sleeve tops over my 38 years on the planet, and you cannot get a better bang for your buck than these ones from Amazon–> $12, so many colors, soft fabric, stretch, and thick (not see-through)! I have and love a few of the short-sleeved versions ($8), too.

*I love it with this Jean vest. If I look award in clothes modeling shots its because I feel awkward in clothes modeling shots (outside of running clothes, ha).

*This ribbed top from Amazon is also a must. This one also comes in so many different colors. It feels just like a top that I have from lululemon. It’s also plenty long enough. I’m grabbing it in more colors!

*My mom sent me this pic of my dad with Brooke. I don’t know what I would have done without them and having us living with them until we could get on our feet again. Brooke LOVED living with them.

Does anyone else have a child or partner who wears shorts (not for running, the rest of the day) during the winter?

What are your Friday night plans?

Who else is currently training for Boston?

Do you stop your run/watch at an exact number, or does it not bother you to stop at any place within the mile?
