Fast Forward + Mixed Opinions + Worth Every Penny

(shorts)

Friday night: “I’m not setting an alarm, I’m going to bed way too late and there isn’t a chance I can get in a run before all of the games for the day starts.” Fast forward 5.5 hours and I was wide awake. I am afraid that my jetlag is never going to melt away.

The moon was sure gorgeous. 9.23 miles @ 8:13 pace.

And then it was straight to games. My MIL joined us, which made them even more fun.

Bite or string the cheese? Mixed opinions over here.

Beck and Skye got in some laps around the track during Knox’s soccer game. HIS SMILE at the end of his interval.

Knox had his first flag football game! Time for me to learn the rules…

Here are our first two loaves of sourdough that we completed by ourselves! The taste was 10/10, and now we will work on shaping and decorating. We took a class from Scott’s Bread, and I cannot recommend him enough. He makes it as simple as possible and even brought all of the supplies we needed. The whole experience was worth every penny we paid for the four of us to learn!

I love that Brooke butters each side of her bread:)

It is shocking to me that this bread is only made out of water, flour, and salt.

Andrew was working all Sunday, so it was just me and the kids. I wear this dress at every opportunity.

I’ve posted about 100 videos of our new chicks on IG, but also have to post a picture of two of them here. We bought thirteen, and I cannot get over how much I love them. We lost our chickens a few weeks ago to a raccoon (for the first time in five years of having chickens!), but we have fixed up their coop, and these chicks will be safe and sound when they are ready to move into the backyard.

I saw this on traderjoes5itemsorless and had to try it. I also had a Core Power with it because I have protein goals again. It was 5/5, and the first time I liked honey: Sweet potato, goat cheese, spicy honey sauce, & pecan pieces.

The Boston Marathon is just one week away! I am so excited for everyone that has worked their buns off to prepare for these 26.2 miles, and I hope you smile as many of those miles as you can! All of my tips for Boston are HERE. I hope that I get to go back someday.
