Running

A lot of Friday Favorites!

Another morning run with Emilee, she is somehow getting me running more and faster than I would be on my own haha. Runner peer pressure is REAL. She is also getting me to want to do more yoga which I did after our run by my fireplace. PS I know I am acclimating well to winter when I went out in shorts and it was 22°F… although, the sun was out which is very different than 22°F in the dark.

Andrew was supposed to have meetings all day but they were cancelled which none of us were mad about because it made it so that we had him all day.

Andrew accomplished something he was proud about. He rode two bikes to pick Knox up from school (crossing multiple streets ha) while also clipped in on his own bike. I could never.

And a photo with Skye and her favorite thing in the world:

Today’s Friday Favorites include a lot of clothes that I’m wearing often lately:

*It doesn’t get softer than this jacket. Andrew gave this to me a few months ago and like usual, he picks out my favorite pieces. Every time I wear it out and about, someone will ask me where I got it because they need it the second they feel it.

*I can already tell these pants will be among my favorite top finds of 2025. When Brooke saw and felt them, she said she loved my new Vuori pants. Nope, not Vuori, and about 1/4th of the price. The material is beyond soft, and you can dress them up or down. You can choose your length, and the waistband is the perfect thickness. I wore them with this top which I have in a few colors.

*Don’t mind the marks left on my doorframe from a previous pull-up bar, but this one isn’t leaving a mark in the slightest on my doorframe. What I love the most is how comfortable the grip is on the bar. The gym bar on my hands is what usually hurts first when attempting pull-ups. This one is so comfortable and can hold without budging everyone in our family. I am about 98% of the way to being able to do my pull-up!

*The drink I actually cannot survive winter without the perk energy chai latte flavor. Protein, collagen, energy (caffeine-free for the kids), warmth, flavor, and currently my favorite morning tradition. Maybe perk energy is just a Utah thing, but I know so many people who adore this stuff.

*Really loving this Athleta Microfleece sweatshirt… Athleta is currently $20 Off $100, $50 Off $200, $100 Off $300+

*My sweet friend/neighbor/a woman I look up to so much gave me this two-piece sweater dress for Christmas. I want to be warm and comfortable at church while looking like I still dressed up and this outfit does it all.

*Somehow the heart version taste even better than the fish variety.
